The best communications are never created in isolation. They begin as conversations, are shaped by many perspectives, and refined until they tell one clear story.
For more than twenty-five years, I’ve helped mission-driven organizations transform ideas into compelling communications that engage supporters, buld brands, and advance organizational goals. I write, design, photograph, and produce publications, websites, fundraising campaigns, and digital content; however, my real work begins long before the first word is written.
I collaborate closely with executive leadership, development professionals, educators, and program staff to understand what an organization is trying to accomplish, then translate those priorities into communications that are clear, persuasive, and visually engaging. Every project reflects many voices. My role is to help those voices speak with a shared purpose.
At Creative Art Works, I’ve led the organization’s creative function across print, digital, photography, web, and brand communications while contributing to a period in which the annual operating budget grew from roughly $1 million to more than $2 million. This was the work of a dedicated team. My contribution was creating the communications tools and storytelling that helped that team build relationships with donors, partners, teaching artists, and the community.
I work at the intersection of strategy and execution, where thoughtful collaboration becomes effective communication and every brochure, website, campaign, or annual report serves a larger mission.
